Un fuerte estruendo sorprendi\u00f3 a los transe\u00fantes, quienes escucharon los golpes de la ca\u00edda de parte del techo hacia el interior de la iglesia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Afortunadamente, solo se han reportado da\u00f1os materiales en el inmueble que es considerado como Monumento Hist\u00f3rico del Patrimonio Cultural de la Naci\u00f3n desde 1972. Esta iglesia fue edificada en 1536 y reconstruida en 1634 tras un terremoto en 1619, seg\u00fan expertos.
