Al respecto, el subgerente de la Geresa, Gabriel P\u00e9rez Ballena, indic\u00f3 que tras conocer el caso se comunic\u00f3 con los m\u00e9dicos y enfermeras; as\u00ed como de la pacientes y los familiares de la misma. El funcionario coment\u00f3, adem\u00e1s, que la paciente le indic\u00f3 que sinti\u00f3 los dolores de parto en horas de la tarde pero no pudo acudir al hospital porque estaba al cuidado de sus gemelos de tres a\u00f1os de edad porque no ten\u00eda con qui\u00e9n dejarlos; por lo que tuvo esperar hasta que su esposo llegara del trabajo.<\/p>\n<p>Sin embargo, refiere P\u00e9rez Ballena, todo parece indicar que el personal de Salud no hizo una valoraci\u00f3n inmediata de la emergencia, lo cual origin\u00f3 que la gestante diera a luz en el patio.
